Ever wondered how we create our special furniture at Furnestry? We mix nature with design using something called epoxy resin and live edge wood. Let’s dive into the process behind making our one-of-a-kind furniture.

Keeping Nature’s Beauty

We start by picking beautiful wood planks. Our skilled team takes off the bark, keeping the natural edge, and makes the wood smooth and shiny. Each table is different in size and shape. We build a mold around the wood to create a flowing design that shows off the wood’s natural spirit.

Adding Epoxy Resin

The cool part happens when we fill the gaps with epoxy resin. It’s like glue that dries hard and sticks the wood pieces together. We can make the resin clear or colored. We pour it into layers, making it flat with the wood. We also sand it between each layer to make it super smooth.

Adding a Splash of Color

To make things even more interesting, we add things like fire glass between the resin layers. It’s like giving our tables a colorful twist.

After pouring the resin, we have to wait for it to dry. It takes at least 48 hours. This makes our tables strong and durable.

Once it’s dry, we take the table out of the mold and make the top super smooth. Then, we work on making the bottom part fit perfectly. We also put a special finish on top so it won’t get scratched easily.
