Furnestry is an evolving passion project, a labour of love,
and, more importantly, a time capsule bridging traditional artistry with contemporary sensibilities.
Born in 2020, when the world came to a screeching halt, we decided to forge an approach that allowed us to
reveal the eloquent personality of wood that lost its appeal as fast furniture started gaining ground.
We are a proudly bespoke operation devoted to the art and craftsmanship
of furniture-making. We spend our time reimagining conventional materials and recasting them in fresh narratives.
As a result, our products are a triumph of experimental concepts as they celebrate creation processes.
At Furnestry, we craft enduring, versatile, and distinctive pieces that are
timeless and on-trend. As design enthusiasts, we create functional works of art that bring a sense of warmth and
wonderment to spaces.
The Team
At the heart of our studio is the dynamic husband and wife partnership of Ankur and Mansi Allen.
Propelled by the passion for developing unique pieces with a material-first perspective, they realised furniture has
the potential to embody personal sentiments. So they started creating designs, iteration-by-iteration, in the only way
they knew how: experimenting.
